What types of contests do you offer?
We offer two different types of contests, fantasy sports and pari-mutuel. Our fantasy sports contests allow users to enter rosters of players and compete against other users based on the real life scoring of those players. Pari-mutuel contests enable users to wager on different outcomes using a pari-mutuel pool.
What information is required to open a CoinRoster account?
We require you to create a username and password, and also provide us with a valid e-mail address.
How do I make a deposit?
To make a deposit, login to your account and click on the deposit link in the main menu. Follow the on screen instructions to associate a wallet address with your account, tell us how much bitcoin you would like to deposit, then use your personal bitcoin wallet to send your bitcoins to our wallet address that is provided to you.
How do I make a withdrawal?
To make a withdrawal, login to your account and click on the withdrawal link on your account details page. Submit an amount you would like to withdrawal. Your withdrawal request will be processed within 24 hours.
How are contests scored?
Our contests are based on single stats. Our fantasy golf scoring is based on a real life player’s score to par.
What happens if two users tie in a contest?
If there is a tie at the end of the contest, users included in the tie will evenly split the related prize pool. For example, if two users tie for 1st place, and 1st place pays 20 and 2nd place pays 10, we add the combine places then split that among the tied parties. Each would receive 15.
Can I withdraw my bet once it is placed?
No. Please be careful and don’t bet on things you don’t mean to.
How is the payoff of a pari-mutuel pool calculated?
If your bet is correct, your payout is calculated as (total amount bet – rake) / (your share of the amount bet on the winning outcome).
